And looking for someone to take out my aggressions on. I think I'll spare Jonathan for the time being. He is stopping at that planet, after all. There has got to be something for me to do around here...until I get to eat Archer er, eat with Archer, that is.

Having a bit of android difficulties?

*flash*

What a boring excuse for a place to eat. Makes Ten-Forward look positively exciting. Tell me, Vash, *how* have you managed to not expire of boredom in your visit here? I can't think that Archer's all that... entertaining.

Maybe you've been getting your entertainment quota by being carried off by big strong stupid androids? Is that the appeal?

Re: Having a bit of android difficulties?

*blinks. twice.*

What in the hell...?

*pats phaser pistol in case*

*plays it nonchalant, watching from his table while continuing to listen to Hess talk in her sleep*

This just gets better and better...

Re: Having a bit of android difficulties?

Q. Just my luck. The universe *is* out to get me after all.

Tell me, Vash, *how* have you managed to not expire of boredom in your visit here? I can't think that Archer's all that... entertaining.

*mutters under her breath* Want to try him out for yourself?

*clears throat* Well, boredom is an occupational hazard of mine. Occasionally I can find something that makes it all worthwhile, but the tin man wasn't it, no. Sic him on me yourself, did you? Damn it, I haven't screwed Jean-Luc *yet*, ok? Why don't you chuck dear Bev out an airlock or something? Maybe a one way trip back to her own little ship. Are you getting *your* entertainment quota in by watching the whole thing?

Re: Having a bit of android difficulties?

Mmmm... no. He's actually quite ugly. Although I do have to appreciate him thoroughly humiliating my ex. I'd wonder about your standards, except I've seen you perform oo-mox on Ferengi, so I know you don't actually have any.

Sic him on me yourself, did you?

Oh no no no. It's so much more fun to watch you get into this kind of trouble all by yourself.

I could keep him from bothering you again, of course. All you have to do is ask.

And I know exactly who you have-- and haven't-- done. Why else do you think I'm here? You just aren't all that entertaining all by yourself.

As for Bevie-poo, I'll get around to her, sooner or later.

You have no idea. This is tons more fun than being a mad scientist making robot duplicates of bimbo girlfriends, believe you me.

Re: Having a bit of android difficulties?

Standards? I prefer to think of them as priorities. Some things are just...necessary.

I could keep him from bothering you again, of course. All you have to do is ask.

Good. Let's just say I'm not completely confident that the crew here can keep him under control. I'd say chucking him out an airlock might be fun for a laugh, but he'd probably survive to get picked up by another ship out here and cause yet more trouble not that I care. I'm sure you can come up with something creative, Q. *grins*

Do I want to know? As in, is there profit in it for me?

Done.

::snaps fingers::

I've... arranged for your good pal B-9 to take a little trip. To the 23rd century. *smirk*

If you get a chance you could ask Lenny boy or maybe Spock about what their captain does with androids.

Some things are just...necessary.

Yes. But sex with Ferengi should never fall in that category.

Do I want to know?

Not really, no. Since you can't blackmail me without risking my turning you into a Maltarian polecat, there isn't any profit in it for you, and I tend to put people in roleplaying scenarios when they try to embarrass me. And I'm sure you don't want a repeat of Robin Hood or anything like it.

Q?

What--are you here for Vash? *walks over to the table and stands next to it*

*nods to Vash* Vash.

Not now! Why does my body always have to respond to him this way? A dangerous, exciting--no. Irritating, interesting, sexy--sigh. Not much point in denying it, really. Will you be leaving with...her, Q?

Re: Q?

What's wrong, Jean-Luc? Why won't you sit down? Afraid one of us will...bite? *smiles* All right, I've done them both and they've done each other. This probably means something, but I don't care.

Are you planning on coming down to the planet's surface later? I've heard that the little armory boy thinks that wouldn't be a good idea, since you're *such* a big, bad security risk. Amusing, isn't it? You tend to find out things when you screw the crew.

Let's just say I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop in.

How can you stand being on this dreary ship? I mean, yours is dull, but at least the decor is in beige, not gunmetal grey. And while the garish primary colors your uniforms come in do have less of a military flair, they're also far more eye-catching than these... dull... blue things everyone wears around here. I mean, the most stylishly dressed native of this ship is the Vulcan. Do you realize how sad that is?

Will you be leaving with...her, Q?

Why does everyone assume that the moment I show up I'm planning to leave?

Maybe they are just hoping, Q. Not that I'm including myself in that statement. *smiles*

Indeed. Odd considering how much you profess to find this ship so terribly boring. You also haven't lost your preoccupation with clothing, I see.

So, you will be staying for a while, then? I can't say that I ever planned on being here so long, but I did have to fetch the doctor. She was drunk incapacitated. I couldn't just leave her here as much as I wanted to.

Oh, it is. But the company is so congenial.

You also haven't lost your preoccupation with clothing, I see.

It is the hallmark of a truly advanced species, you know.

So, you will be staying for a while, then?

I haven't decided yet. You know me, I never like to keep to any fixed schedules.

I can't say that I ever planned on being here so long, but I did have to fetch the doctor. She was drunk incapacitated. I couldn't just leave her here as much as I wanted to.

Oh, are you really sure about that? You could have, you know. It would be a tremendous boon to this benighted century to have a real doctor rather than a guy who treats insomnia with leeches.

Leeches? Remind me not to become ill while I'm here if Beverly does decide to leave before I do. It wouldn't seem right to...encourage her to stay if she didn't wish it. A transfer in the twenty-fourth century is another matter entirely.

Yes, well, you should have thought of that before making the beast with two backs. Now you'll have to pry her loose with a crowbar.

Need to borrow a crowbar?
